How does this work

First, NFC tags or QR codes (“Checkpoints” or simply “Points”) are programmed by the competition organizer using the Master App, placed on the training ground, and marked on the map. Then, paper maps with marked Checkpoints are distributed to the competitors. Participants must download the app to their phones in advance. The competition consists of searching for Checkpoints placed on the training ground. The goal is to collect as many Checkpoints as possible within a certain time limit, as fast as possible. When a Checkpoint is found, hold the phone with the app open to the Checkpoint (the “NFC tag”). A signal will sound and the found Checkpoint will be displayed on the screen. The Checkpoint can also be accompanied by a QR code, in which case the code must be scanned by pressing the “Scan QR” button.

To use this app, you need an Android phone that supports NFC. NFC must be enabled on the phone.

The complete software consists of the Master App and the Competitor App.
