Lookfor App (Look4)

An app for mobile devices running iOS or Android.
Purpose: For participation in orienteering competitions.
For full functionality, the following permissions must be enabled on the Participant’s device:
– NFC Reading – to read tags
– Camera – to read QR codes on tags
The app can collect the following data:
– Participant Name – this can be a Name, nickname, or any other unique name identifying a Participant or Team in a specific Sporting Event.
– Tag – a set of data containing: Tag Number, Tag Weight (points), Tag Validity Period, and the Organization hosting the competition.
The app collects the data in a file stored on the device.
The data is transmitted to the organizer’s device via a QR code.
You can delete data from your device at any time by entering the route number and clicking the “Clear Completely” button.
At your request, the Competition organizer can delete your data.
Race data for all participants is stored by the Organizer at least until the end of the Competition.
